Entry Requirements
UQFY Entry Requirements – English and Academic
All Programs
Minimum entry levels are described below:
- Entry from Year 11 or equivalent requires superior grades.
- Forecast results are accepted where appropriate.
- Consideration is given to the actual subjects studied. Depending on your preferred undergraduate program, a minimum grade in mathematics may also apply.
- Entry to the Express Program may require higher academic grades than below. Eleven full years of schooling is also required.
- We will only accept an application if the results indicate the student will have a good chance of passing the program.

Note: If the Medium of Instruction (MOI) is wholly or predominantly English for at least 2 years, then school results will be accepted as evidence of English Competency.

Quota Programs
Entry into the quota programs Dental Science, Veterinary Science and Nursing/Midwifery are competitive. As such, entry requirements into the Foundation Year for these programs are higher than other programs.
