Story

I came to Foundation Year as it offered a secure way to achieve my goal of going to The University of Queensland to complete a commerce degree. 

I liked the flexibility of the classes at Foundation Year. I enjoyed the International Food Festival held at Foundation Year, which is foods from different countries that the students bring along and we all share. Foundation Year is more like university and is flexible so you can use your time wisely and still be able to attend activities out of college. What I also like is that students are from all over the world which made my world wiser. I feel like I am living in a good environment where students are multicultural.  

I love the Brisbane weather as there are four seasons which have a similar climate with Asia, and I feel very safe. People are friendly and it is an easy lifestyle to adapt to.The classes made it easier to prepare for The University of Queensland, especially Academic English. Throughout this year I have learned how to reference, summarise the text and also to analyse the data and write a research report. 

Foundation Year made me fully prepared to go to university. Without this course, I believe I would have struggled at The University of Queensland.
