The university’s reputation for research is excellent. The city is very multicultural. I’m a practising Muslim and I’ve haven’t had any difficulties with people in Brisbane at all.
At the UQFY the teachers treat you and deal with you like an adult. Classes are very interactive and I’m encouraged to share my opinions and answers. Everyone feels confident to speak up. We enjoy social time together as well. The beginning of semester bbq is a great way to meet new people outside of my classes. Studying at UQFY has helped me become a much more sociable person.
UQFY and Brisbane is such a nice place to live and study. The staff at the College and teachers in particular are very friendly. I would encourage anyone thinking about studying Foundation in Australia to choose The UQ Foundation Year.
