UQ is one of the most famous universities in Australia and UQ Foundation Year is a prerequisite course for international students to study at UQ. Foundation Year has given me an opportunity to adapt to a new life in Australia before entering university. Studying prerequisite subjects in English prior to studying in university is crucial to your success.
The small classes at IES provide a great environment to study. I mostly enjoyed being able to socialise with students from overseas.
At UQ I plan to do a dual major of psychology and biomedical science within the Bachelor of Science degree and start studying medicine in graduate school.
UQ Foundation Year has helped me adapt to a new life in a new country.
