IES wins Queensland Excellence Award for Best Pathway Program

We are delighted to announce that International Education Services(IES) has won the Queensland Education and Training International (QETI)
Best Pathway Program 2009 Award, for the University of Queensland Foundation Year. The award recognizes IES as “
providing leadership and exemplary work in the area of pathway development and provision for international students”. The judges were particularly impressed by the culture of continuous improvement and commitment to quality outcomes, made possible by the strong relationship and close engagement with the University of Queensland that IES enjoys.
The photo shows Mr Chris Evason, UQFY Director, accepting the award at the formal ceremony in Queensland Parliament House. Chris thanked both The University of Queensland and the Queensland Government for their strong support, and he underlined IES’s ongoing commitment to continually improve the program to maintain its all-round reputation for high quality.
IES would like to take this opportunity to thank all IES staff and UQFY students, both past and present, for their contribution over the last 12 years in making UQFY the recognised leader it has become.
