UQFY Scholarships

In some countries scholarships are available for study in the Foundation year. These scholarships provide for a 50% remission of all academic fees. The scholarships are payable retrospectively upon successful completion of the Foundation Year and enrolment into undergraduate programs at The University of Queensland.

Scholarships are awarded on academic merit.

UQ Scholarships

The University of Queensland offers a number of scholarships specifically for graduates of the UQ Foundation Year.

These Scholarships are available in the disciplines of Arts, Economics, IT & Electrical Engineering, Social and Behavioural Sciences (Bursary) and Pharmacy (Bursary).

The majority of the Scholarship awards are valued at up to 50% of the total tuition fee for that particular Degree. For example, UQ’s School of Economics offers scholarships for outstanding students seeking to undertake the Bachelor of Economics either as a single or dual program. This award is valued at approximately AUD$39,975.

The scholarships are awarded on academic merit, with previous winners achieving GPA's of 6.8 and above. Students achieving similar results are encouraged to apply.
