To study in Australia, you will need to obtain a student visa issued by the Australian immigration authorities. The conditions for obtaining a student visa depend on your country of origin and relate to the Australian Government's assessment of risk relating to breaches of visa conditions.
However in general, to obtain a visa you will be required to show evidence of sufficient money to undertake your studies, and appropriate academic qualifications including English language qualifications you will also need to undertake a medical examination.
When you apply to UQFY and receive an offer for a place you may need to begin a 'pre-visa' assessment immediately. You may also need to enrol (pay the tuition fee) before beginning the visa assessment. The offer letters that you receive will detail what steps you need to take to obtain the appropriate visa.
